![]() It shows a "faceplate" (a GUI snapshot) for the plug-in and on clicking Opn, opens the plug-in's GUI for editing. Similar to the Reason DAW (not the Rack). ![]() The one from the Space Delay for example. An Echorec, a BBD delay and an oil can delay for example.Īnd the spring reverb could use a few more different sounding spring reverb models. MixBox only has three delay effects and could use some more delay effects with different character. More delay effects with different characters Then the GUI gets larger on the bottom depending on the numbers of uncollapsed bottom bars, but they're not that high anyway. ![]() I wouldn't mind it if there were multiple collapsible bottom bars instead. But the downside is that you have to click a button first if you want the bottom bar to show hidden information/controls. Some users might like it, because this way the GUI doesn't get too large and only shows relevant information/controls. There's one bottom bar that can show multiple things. Unfortunately scrolling didn't work by pressing the left and right arrow keys of my keyboard.Īvoid clicking the selection buttons for the bottom bar controls If you want to see effects 5 - 8, then you can either click on the button in the top left corner to expand the view to eight effects or you can scroll to the other effects by moving the handle below the effects. MixBox by default shows only four effects. Scroll the 4FX view using the keyboard left and right arrow keys It would be nice if you could also use up and down arrows here. You have to click on presets to see the list of presets and then select one. Strangely enough these up and down arrows aren't there in the preset browser of the individual effects. ![]() It's possible to walk through the global presets by clicking on the up and down arrows. Up and down arrows for module preset selection I understand the developers need to prevent the MixBox GUI from getting cluttered up, but there is a perfect spot for the A/STEREO/B mode switch in the center of the MixBox Tape Echo GUI. T-Racks Tape Echo on the other hand has an A/STEREO/B mode switch that does allow you to do this when set to STEREO. But when you want to turn it from two separate delays into one stereo delay, there seems to be no fast way to make A and B the same. The MixBox Tape Echo has two delay lines which is nice. A couple of things that could be improved just to make MixBox a little bit more user-friendly imo:
